Hold onto Me

Alice came tumbling down the Rabbit hole and strangely it felt just like falling in Love.

If I lose myself,
Will you be the one to try and find me?
Will you be my beacon in the night,
My lighthouse on stormy seas?

Please hold onto me
You’re something I don’t want to lose
I want you and only you, my dear
I’ve finally found my home in you

Never let me go
I don’t think I could be alone anymore
You’ve shown me what it’s like to love again
And I was wrong when I thought I’d truly loved before

With you, it’s different
There are no lows to accompany the highs
I’m not waiting for the other shoe to drop
And trying to look beyond your words for the lies

I’m trusting you, love
I’m putting my faith in you to not leave me broken and alone
Stay close to me, please, and let me love you
In your heart, my own has found it’s home

This is a great poem, I like the beginning with “will you be my lighthouse in the storm”. The poem flows really well and I love how it ends.
